Vivien Snyder has been with Allen Tate/Beverly-Hanks her entire real estate career as she believes if you are going to do something, be the best at it. Thanks to Vivien’s expertise, hard work, and the backing of an excellent firm, she has sold over 700 homes throughout her real estate career. 

About Vivien

Vivien came to Asheville in 1989 when she was recruited from Pensacola, Florida to be the Director of Membership at the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce. From there she went to work in advertising at WLOS-TV, which also gave Vivien special insight into people and businesses in her new hometown. After WLOS, she started her own advertising agency, Advantage Marketing, before going to work for one of her clients, Cardinal Mortgage. It was inevitable, however, that Vivien would follow in her mother’s footsteps and have a career in real estate, so she made the natural transition to join Beverly-Hanks.

Originally from Maryland, in the suburbs of D.C., Vivien then came “south” to attend Clemson University. After calling Asheville home for 30+ years, she has a deep appreciation and an extensive knowledge of this area, and a network of people and businesses that are a priceless resource for her clients.

Vivien and her husband, Tom, are the proud parents of numerous grandchildren and grand-dogs. If you see her, be prepared to see photos of the kids and grandkids, as family is her passion. She has an excellent knowledge of the local school systems including the PEP program for special needs children and extracurricular activities including sports on all levels. Whatever your definition of family is, she wants to help your family achieve an easy move. Each family member has concerns that need to be addressed, and Vivien will try to listen to everyone involved and give assurance to their comfort level.
